The visit of the educational inspection to the classrooms is an essential activity since it involves immersion in the core of the schools and the educational system. It is a complex activity that requires a broad and multifaceted look, without forgetting the importance of keeping in mind the context in which they find themselves. From this approach, we address the reasons and purposes that may lead to visits to the classrooms, the criteria for an adequate selection of them, the multiple aspects to take into account when entering, during the visit and at the end, as well as the considerations subsequent to it. Ultimately, when visiting an uncertain and complex space such as the classroom, a broader perspective is required, knowing that the visit will develop in a process in which interest and professionalism are required.
