Abstract
The bookSubsidised Schools (SS). The Inspectorate of Education in SS addresses a complex topic from the point of view of the Educational Inspection. Subsidised schools are subject to their own legal and operating frame, partly as a result of the historical evolution of Spanish private centers and the political events that have occurred, above all, throughout the 20th century. Education inspector Fernando Tébar Cuesta immerses us in this topic by analyzing the peculiarities of subsidised schools with respect to public schools, as well as those aspects to be taken into account by inspectors in the supervision of this type of centers.
