EUROPEAN TRADE UNION CHARTER FOR EDUCATION INSPECTORS

Abstract

The collaboration and joint work developed and led by USIE and the Portuguese trade union SIEE (Sindicato de Inspetores de Educação e do Ensino) has allowed the international relations initiated in 2021, and which resulted in a mutual commitment signed through a collaboration agreement between both organizations, to expand beyond the borders of the Iberian Peninsula. After almost a year of searching for networking and joint working meetings, representatives of five European trade unions, which include education inspectors among their members, have agreed on a European Trade Union Charter for Education Inspectors, which will serve to initiate a shared and committed international relationship.
