Abstract

Since the publication, on August 9th, of the first news about the new primary curriculum adapted to LOMLOE, numerous media and people from different fields have expressed their opinion about it. A large part of these comments have focused on the elementary mathematics curriculum in which, for the first time, two specific socio-emotional competencies to be achieved by the students and a socio-emotional sense among the basic knowledge to work with the students are introduced. Beyond the credentials that these media and people have to value an educational curriculum, hinting at many of the comments that have made a superficial reading, it is necessary to carry out a technical analysis on this curriculum that we present in this article.
