The authors, education inspectors, analyze, from a technical point of view, the application of academic freedom in non-university education. They start from the development of this right of the teacher, recognized in the Spanish constitution, which has been made by jurisprudence, giving content to academic freedom in the non-university context, both in public and private institutions. To try to define the positive content of academic freedom, starting from the limits depending on the educational stage and maturity of the students, they take this jurisprudential development as a reference. Based on this definition, they propose a series of practical assumptions, drawn from the daily reality of teachers and schools. They conclude the practical applicability of academic freedom in the field of non-university education.
