Abstract

In modern democratic societies the principle of educational inclusion is one of the pillars for social transformation making use of education as the most appropriate means to overcome inequalities and exclusion of any kind. Based on this, this research aims to analyze educational policies in terms of attention to the diversity of students with Intellectual or Development Disability enrolled in the classrooms of basic education centers. A challenge for the Educational that has the complex task of ensuring compliance with the different regulations and their articulation at the international, national and regional levels in a social moment of profound changes that have to respond to the educational needs demanded by society of the XXI century.
