This paper reviews the normative forms that present, in our Autonomous State, the contents that comprise the organic regulations of the center (ROC) and analyzes the place that a ROC occupies in the system of sources of law. It explains the importance of school autonomy as a backbone element to keep in mind when preparing or modifying a ROC while analyzing the loss of autonomy of the school director in the current LOMLOE compared to the LOMCE
