The article captures an enlarged summary of the first part of a session of the USIE Virtual Meeting, held last November, about the organic education laws and their current state, derived from the then imminent publication of the LOMLOE, which I shared with my colleagues, the inspectors Rosa González-Calero Labian y Jesús Marrodán Gironés.

The objective of this article is to analyze in detail and from a legal point of view the elements dealt with in that first part by the inspector who subscribes, in relation to the organic laws in general and their derivation in the educational laws of development of the article 27 of the Constitution. For this purpose, it covers its conceptual and normative framework, its scope of application, the background in our nearby legal system, as well as its relationship with the main points that regulate the current organic education laws in force in our country.
