Abstract
DOI: https://doi.org/10.52149/Sp21/59.6
This article discusses the necessary factors to understand what is meant by teleworking, the requirements, and conditions to qualify for this modality within the public administration. The implications of the non-face-to-face working modality on the privacy of workers and citizens, the guarantee of the fundamental right to the protection of personal data, the different working environments in this modality and the possible lines of development to be considered in the face of a hypothetical widespread application of the teleworking modality will be examined. The article will explain whether the functions of the Inspectors of Education can be developed in this working modality or whether new regulation should be designed to include, within the scope of application, the body of Inspectors of Education as public officials eligible to carry out their work in distance working modalities.
