Abstract

On the occasion of the effects of the pandemic and confinement, a reflection on some consequences in the educational field is proposed. On the one hand, a clear orphanhood has been revealed in this time, conceptually speaking, with regard to clear references to education. This pandemic has highlighted that education is, to a certain extent, in a sort of morass that has become more acute in this context as certain attitudes and manifestations emerge.
Proclamations and testimonies, especially from public school directors, require a deep reflection and revision of the duties of civil servants, particularly that of obedience.
The leadership of directors must be based on extensive pedagogical but also administrative knowledge so as not to reach extreme situations such as certain declarations of disobedience to the instructions of the administration.
Finally, all this leads to the conclusion that what is really needed is to clarify, fix and develop a clear concept of education, in which the values and models to be transmitted are clear and transparent.
