Abstract

Equity is a complex concept with multiple aspects. We are going to analyze in depth the Organic Law 2/2006, 3rd May, on Education (onwards LOE), in its original text, and the Organic Law 8/2013, 9th December, for the improvement of education quality (onwards LOE-TC) in search of the quotations in which the term appears, the interpretation given to it and how it is reflected in the educational system. We will carry out an analysis in order of appearance, that is, starting from the beginning of the Laws (Preamble) to its last pages. We will do a comparative analysis, in which we will first present what is included in the LOE and later we will analyze if the LOMCE introduces changes, or not, what changes and what they imply.
