Abstract

Written reports make up one of the fundamental tools in the work of inspectors of Education. So, the ability for written communication is essential in our work. In this article we develop the fundamental conditions for these reports to serve the purpose for which they are written. The inspection report is treated as a discursive genre, developing the characteristics that they must possess, the phases that can be followed for its elaboration, the information or contents of said reports, and finally, some style features.
