Abstract
In view of the current political situation in Spain, the author points out the urgent need to build consensus policies to improve Spanish Education, avoiding the actual institutional and parlamentary deadlock which is seriously affecting the improvement of Education in our country.
The urgency of discussing and adopting a Teacher´s Statute is emphasized.
